Prior to starting Home Reborn, I was working in the financial industry in downtown Toronto while raising two daughters with my wife. Though academically inclined toward economics and public policy, I always had a passion for building and “fixing” things, and embraced my role as the ‘token handyman’. As I moved into adulthood, I started doing small projects in my free time for friends and family – minor remodelling, kitchen/bathroom renovations, and various other tasks.

In 2001, I decided to turn my hobby into my career. I quit my desk job at the Toronto Board of Trade to start my own general contracting firm, Home Reborn. It was a risk, but one worth taking. I get to do what I love every day, while turning your dreams into reality. 

After being in the business for nearly two decades now, I remain steadfast in my commitment to professionalism, quality craftsmanship and communication with my clients and sub-contractors. I recognize that many people in this business can be unreliable, expensive, and poor communicators. This only serves to add additional stress to those who have already made a big (and expensive) decision to renovate their home. To me, this is unacceptable. 

Through Home Reborn, my goal is to help my clients turn their visions into realities with as little stress as possible; to show them that achieving your dream home doesn't always have to be an anxiety-ridden process. This is precisely why I adopted a “one-project-at-a-time” approach – it allows me to work with you every step of the way, offers you more flexibility throughout the project, and enables my team to get the job done on time, every time.
